Korean smiley emojis and global emojis are different. Do you know why is that?

Do you know why is that? Korean -> (^^) (^_^) (0_0) (\_/) (*_*) (ㅠㅠ) Global -> :), =), :-), :), :], =), :-), :) The product seems to follow the culture.

@won_park I generally use global emojis. But, I will use this one as well from now on, very sweet (*_*)

Interesting! These are the types of cultural differences I love to discover. :) (^__^) The Korean ones are similar to the Japanese ones, right? Does all of Asia use those types of emojis? Do you know the reason why the West and East use different ones? Btw (0__0) was me the other day when we launched on Product Hunt! In awe of all our support and trying to keep up with answering lots of comments!

@kate_santoro1 I heard that the eyes are important in the east and the mouth is important in the west, so the emoji is different.
