Almost everyone mentions Twitter as the best channel for growing an audience
Twitter is my favorite social channel.
This is because I can communicate with my niche easily compared to other channels.
What's your preferred channel?

Without question, LinkedIn.
Connections are far more meaningful and content is much more engaging. It's easy to scale up CHEAP followers on Twitter (or Instagram, or TikTok) but it's the value of the platform and community that matters.

@seobrien_mediatech Oh I'm a beginner of Linkedin.
Do you think what's the big difference between Twitter and Linkedin?
@charlie_lee1 ENORMOUS difference.
Twitter is full of fake accounts, businesses as profiles, and littered with sales, spam, and unprofessional content.
It's worth being on Twitter, but learn how to automate content syndication, get alerts about notable interests and people, and how to engage people that matter. LinkedIn is where you want to actively and intentionally spend your time.

I haven’t build anything yet, but im on my way to first product. Wanna say Twitter and LinkedIn are my favourites, because it’s easy to connect with anyone and community is pretty nice. Im writing tweets for 2 days and already got 10 subscribers who also solopreneurs. We support each other
It highly depends on your business. If you do the audience research, you'll see what social media they prefer. Those will be your perfect channels. You can't harvest apples off the orange tree:)

I like LinkedIN and Twitter
i think tiktok is the best, best algorhytm to find people interested in your stuff, from there on lead them to other socialmedias so you can have more impact then 5 seconds on them

@rowemore Tiktok is nor for selling, its for building a brand, you cant really sell the people something, you can show them how "cool" your brand is, get audience, reach many people and hopefully converte them to other socialmedias. I make free apps so its different to like a normal product selling company.
@charlie_lee1 yes grow audience fast, worldwide and without marketing budget. It can be so easy to go viral there and reach people how are interested, but that takes some work and videos that are interessting for the audience

Mine is LinkedIn and Instagram – that two alone drive most of our interest and sign-ups. I want Twitter to become more attractive for us as content creation on this platform is 10X easier to execute.
Like many have already said – I think it depends. You want to be where your audience is. If you are growing tool for students Twitter is promising, if the students are people who use YouTube often, YT could even be promising if done right.

@talia_basma That's correct! Defining the right audience and understanding where they are is the first!
I prefer using LinkedIn

@shaur_ul_asar Oh. How does SaaS marketing use Linkedin to grow its audience?
Mine is Facebook
@expert_app_devs
Hi, Jignen

@dot_brand Hi, Kevin! Would you use LinkedIn to reach your growth audience? Is Linkedin primarily used by your niche?
@dot_brand Correct! LinkedIn is also a great way to reach audience and grow provided we cater to our target audience

@noel_rajakumar Indeed! It's a very useful platform for startups reaching out their audience!
I'll vouch for building on Twitter any day!
If you start posting consistently and create content that delivers value to the end user, the engagements on the posts skyrocket and so does your traffic to the website provided you add relevant links. I would 100% recommend building your audience on twitter :)
Twitter is... hard. If you don't have an existing following personally, building a following for a project company is very time-consuming. You have to know your niche very well and know how to interact with others that work in the same space. I find it easier than Instagram, personally. I don't fare too well on Instagram.
Depending on your field of work, dedicated discussion groups on Discord and Facebook may provide better traction.

I got my first clients on Instagram and YouTube.

@busmark_w_nika Oh, Interesting! Your niche is there, and you are focusing on content?
minimalist phone: creating folders
@charlie_lee1 I am focusing on educating people on marketing and social media, it is crucial for me to build community and to network.
Cheers to your launch day! We're excited to share that we're also launching today and can't wait to work with you to create new possibilities in the galaxy. 🚀
mine is probably linkedin - just because of niche specifics
but twitter works amazing in some niches, so it's just a matter of your business' domain

@maksim_holub1 Thank you for sharing!
Do you think what's the big difference between Twitter and Linkedin?
Pink Paper
I use twitter for community building mainly because a majority of my target audience are present on that platform,
You should however check platforms where your target audience is most active and build your social standing there. Once you explore you might be surprised to see your target audience active on platforms which you had never given any thought on previously.
As we are B2B we have been using LinkedIn most. But that is also because we don't have a good follower base in Twitter.
I think a combination of both may work best. (different tones)
Hummin'
@nuno_ms_reis I agree. Combining both channels can be very powerful. However, do you think both channels are quite different in building an audience?
@charlie_lee1 I think so. I've had a very easy time growing my LinkedIn moderately, however Twitter I really have no ideia what I'm doing. Pretty new to it.
