I see a great community here supporting each other - which is awesome to see. But when it comes to users/customers - does it provide useful leads?

For me, yes! Both for my services business and digital product.

B2C yes, but B2B, not sure. Will launch next week and will update. But I can tell you that I landed at least one client thanks to Product Hunt.

Except useful leads, it’s also helpful for funding. As far as I know if your product becomes a product of the day it‘s a very positive signal for investors.

We just launched yesterday our product, Pythia World, and it was a crazy marathon. But for me, it was absolutely worth it. There are three main benefits that I can highlight: 1) It was a legitimate reason to reach many people around and share information about the product. It doesn't look spammy because of the great reputation of Product Hunt as a platform, but it definitely gives you an opportunity to get exposure. 2) It helps you accumulate product feedback from users. Literally, some users describe features they need or highlight cases where the product doesn't work correctly. And in the early stage, it is quite hard to get this amount of feedback, especially within one day. 3) It gives a great sense of a milestone for the team. Building a startup is a hard journey, and I think that the Product Hunt community provides a lot of emotional and psychological support to the founders because the culture of the community is supportive. So at the end of the day, you feel secure in launching. I really hope this helps! You can connect me via Linkedin (maryrumyantzeva), if you need any help or support!

Product hunt can be a nice source of lead. The first launch of QApop was critical for me. It generated $2500 in LTD sales.
