Is Product Hunt Completely Rigged?

Hi All We are running a PH Launch, and we're completely shocked at how it works. We have contacted all our customers, alumni from 2 accelerator programs, had posts made by influential companies, and were in second place most of the day. We contact PH twice to ask to be featured, despite hitting all their criteria, they refused. It doesn't feel a very fair playing field at all. We also noticed that our Upvotes drop. Sometimes by 5 or 6 votes.
