Is it necessary for makers to be active on Product Hunt every day leading up to the launch?

Hi there! I would say yes, it is necessary to be active on PH the leading up to the launch. Every day would be ideal. At least that's what I was told and it makes perfect sense. When we think about it, and it took me a while, our project is not gonna launch by itself if we just post about it. People will not find it, since you will be at the bottom of the barrel. And this is only because others will already have an active following prior to their launch, and you won't be able to compete at all! If you have a particular goal, look at the top products of the Day to judge what's obtainable on the platform. Set a number and wait until you get the commitment necessary to reach it. Then you can launch and see if you got it or not. That's about it! And, we are in the same boat! Cheers ;D
