iOS in-app events - what are they good for?

Has anyone ever had any noticeable success with iOS in-app events on the App Store? Does it help boost ASO for newer apps or is it something only really useful for more established apps? I've got (a non-PH-related) one going live at the end of the week a couple of days after my launch here so it will be interesting to see how disappointed I'll be with my download numbers next week 🙃

I haven't had much luck with in-app events for new apps yet, but I believe they can help with visibility and downloads for more established apps. Curious to hear others' experiences! I think the key is having an event that provides real value to users and gets them excited to engage with your app. Keep expectations realistic for new apps though. Good luck with your launch!
