If my product is country based, does it makes sense to launch it on PH in english?

Or should I follow the country's language? I am new to PH and I think there are so many variables to consider - potential clients, investors, offshore clients that don't care my servers are in another country, etc... I've never seen a non-english post here, and it would make sense to post it in english to reach the most people possible. But really my goal is to deliver the best product possible for its right audience - I don't care much about having the most people using my webapp right after launch.

How exactly is your product country-based? If your product is tied down to the culture and or specific problems of people in a country, then it would make more sense to target them. But if it's a problem more widespread problem, that isn't dependent on the boundaries of a country, then it would be worth launching it here. Thinking about potential investors, and other variables is often unnecessary in the early stages. If your customers hang out in a specific area or a community (both online and offline), then just double down on that and market to them.

@sreenington well it's a webapp, and since I am alone I will need to also do the marketing. My main focus is going to be companies in my city, since I can actually reach them easier. Also, in my head is easier to start locally rather than globally, but now that I read your comment I even may reconsider this. I'm kind of new in the process of marketing and sharing, so sorry if I seem to be too lost - I actually am lol

Is there a possibility in the future to have this product in English? For now, if you are country-based, I think that you will not aim at the target group. Let's see me. I am from Slovakia. If my product is in Slovak, probably 99% of people wouldn't understand what's on the go. If I asked my Slovak friends to upvote there, they probably wouldn't, because they do not know this platform. If your product has a chance to be translated into English ā€“ do it first and then launch there.

If people from your country know English, Iā€™d say yes. Other people from other countries may have the same problem when they visit your country. Just saying :)
