I've spent 1 month teaching ChatGPT to do marketing, AMA!

Heyy there It's Dan from MakerBox. We create marketing tools and resources for Solopreneurs. Last month, I had a crazy idea. What if I can teach ChatGPT how to do marketing for Solopreneurs? I started to create hyper-detailed marketing prompts. And the result was incredible. ChatGPT now returns better answers than an average marketing guru on Twitter. Today we launched Marketing Mega-Prompts on Product Hunt — https://www.producthunt.com/posts/marketing-mega-prompts. I spent all my time creating, editing, and optimizing marketing prompts for ChatGPT. So now, I would love to share everything I know with you. Ask me anything 😎

@sankeerth_julapally hi Sankeerth! appreciate your feedback 😎 Here is my approach: 1. Find good use cases 2. Write a lot of instructions what to do, how the good result looks like, and how to format it 3. Optimize until it's on the acceptable level

Bought Teach ChatGPT as well as all the other Maker bundle tools - excellent value for money and great benchmark on "how to" step by step guides -👍🏻

Congrats Dan for ANOTHER great product! I just bought it and started playing around. So far, although I have 2 or 3 databases with growth tactics, it surprised me with an interesting idea. Question - have you managed to link chatGPT with an existing database, for example with an Airtable base with over 100 growth strategies/tactics, and see if he can return a valuable output?

@daniel_pirciu hey Daniel! Thank you once again. Your support is incredible. I didn't target this use case. But I think it has huge potential. Will probably give it a try next month 😎

Hey Dan! Sounds interesting! I'm a little bit confused by what you mean when you say "teaching ChatGPT". I thought it basically forgot everything you said and started fresh, without any context, with every new session. Did you find a way around that?

@gael_de_mondragon hi Gael! I meant that I managed to get far better marketing responses from it. Because instead of 1-liners it gets a huge prompt with a lot of instructions. So it's basically a teaching cycle 🙌

@kronop That makes sense. Damn I was so focused on that teaching part that I almost missed the fact that you were launching. Congratulations!

Hi! Your product sounds awesome! I have a question about teaching as well. The main problem for me when I use ChatGPT is that it forgets the 1st message after writing me 23rd. How did you succeed in avoiding such problem? Thanks!)

@ant_tolstoy Hi Anton! Yeap, memory is a weak spot. But here is my approach. 1) One chat - one task. And you don't usually need more than 23 messages to get the task done 2) If for some reason you need more than 23 messages (for example, to talk with a Coach for Solopreneurs), you can ask it to summarize the conversation and start a new one.
