I’m Joshua, and I’m currently building Overlap – a kick-ass, fully email-based tool that connects people only if both sides opt in and it aligns with your goals. It's already helping tons of people. I started Overlap because LinkedIn feels like spam, Bumble Bizz is like professional dating, and COVID has made in-person events awkward. I’m passionate about making networking authentic and meaningful. A bit about me: A year ago, during a job interview for a startup accelerator, I was asked how to automate matching their network of founders, mentors, and investors. I spent the weekend building a system that aligned members by background and interests. It landed me the job and has since facilitated over 5,000 meetings, leading to countless opportunities.
