I created something to give you an unfair advantage in your co-founder search:

A few months ago, I disclosed here that I was working on something that would help you find your future co-founder. Happy to announce that I am releasing Buildbook - The platform for student builders to post small or quick project ideas to build together, either as a resume piece or for scoping out early co-founder dynamics before committing to a bigger project. We all know that this market hasn't exactly been the best time to find a Co-Founder or raise VC. I have personally experienced the pains of committing to different projects with different people, with grand visions for scalability, legal work, and vesting schedules, all for it to be meaningless after 6 months when the partner drops off. On top of that in the job market, I have personally experienced the soul-crushing routine of submitting several applications, often to roles I qualify for but not landing any interviews it. So I decided to build something I would have used a few years ago when still in College- A platform where technical student builders can express their intention to begin building out a project with others, helping everyone scope out their early co-founder dynamics, commitment schedules, and frictions. Worst case scenario? You can add a project to your resume and move on to the next build. All you need to do is this: Register with your student .edu email, you can be of any level in the education world on the platform, it is not limited to undergraduates! Provide Buildbook with your GitHub and one project that could showcase your technical ability for the platform. This could be a HW assignment, Coursera project, or anything related. We just want to make sure you know the language that will be used during these project builds What you get out of it: Allows you to develop new skills within your technical field Bridges any gaps between the job requirements you typically look for and your previous work experience Helps you form a bond and relationship with other people before committing to a bigger project involving vesting, IP, hiring, VCs, etc A great learning experience and expansion of both your technical resources and network across all universities Why this and not the YC Co-Founder Match? I have been a user of YC Co-Founder Match since its launch, I and everyone who has used it will tell you this is not the way forward. Unless you are polished on the resume (FAANG, T25 school, etc) you don't stand out on the platform. Buildbook allows the rest of us to grow together and make those connections based on our goals and ideas while improving our skill sets. I have opened the beta pre-launch at Buildbook for a limited number of ProductHunt users, mostly to manage my AWS costs as this is self-funded. I apologize because things may not be perfect and polished right now, still please do try it out and let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas on the future evolution. Happy to answer any questions you may have. FYI this is totally free and my own first full-stack project!! Enjoy

@rodbahmanyari This sounds fantastic! Buildbook seems like a great solution for student builders to find co-founders and work on meaningful projects together. Can you please provide the link for the ease to access?
