I Bought a Rabbit....

No, not a cute furry ones, no not the old VW vehicle, and no it was not the unspeakable personal love toy. It's the R1 Rabbit, the new LAM personal AI device. Large Action Models are new to me, and usually I am not one to purchase gadgets that are the first in what is sure to be a long line of them....or maybe the last and only one 😬🫠. I did a little research, watched the Keynote released today, and did some looking around, and for the price ($199), I had a hard time saying no. It's not a replacement for a phone, basically its another piece of technology that I will need to lug around with me, but I will let you know how it goes, It ships in late March/early April. I have zero expectations, and I see it as like buying $199 worth of lottery tickets, probably a loss, but it might be fun and might be able to be modded and repurposed if I find it not to be great.
