I am missing something

Working through the design of my latest project. But, I am missing something. It doesn't seem to be clicking together for UX and the overall tone of the app. What questions should I be asking out of the million different possibilities? No point throwing in a lot of interaction elements, cute little captions or wait for it - confetti.
What are your favorite questions to figure out what's missing?

Sometimes I try to play around in Figma Mirror ( in case it's an app) idk why, but interacting more with the app works
