Hunters, how do you decide which languages to support before launching your product?

I’m talking about the first launch!  Multilingual or just English? 🤔

personal i'm pretty spicy on the topic...only English! Other language’s must just become like latin, fun to learn, but useless. Let me explain this. I'm a neuro (very) divers person and communication is a big hell for me. The rules change, the cultural difference in the use of words, all leads to bad and wrong understood communication. The mountain of world and local and personal problems just come of miss-communication. So, only English. And if you want to please the world, well the top 3 most use languages (I think some will be code languages but hey, ...who i'm i to discriminate only some...)

English only. In the early stage, development speed is the key. Adding more languages slows down your design speed and development speed, and also distract you from multiple markets. So one language at launch.

I would go for English primary and multilingual like optional (options) – once I saw there only Chinese or French version... I didn't understand a single word. Which is okay. If your primary market is your local, it makes sense. But if you are gonna launch somewhere where the traffic is mainly English-speaking audience (and your product is supposed to be explored by an English-speaking audience)... you know.

So far and in the future, everything's in English. The only exception is the 7Caps program, which became multilingual in version 9. In addition to English, it supports 10 other languages and the Venetian dialect.
