    It would be great to look at your content and say what could be better, but all in all: Engagement is primarily influenced by the quality of the content. If the article was written by an expert and there are proofs, pictures, links to authoritative sources in the article, then it is interesting to read it. You can read everything on your social media yourself, are you interested? You can also ask friends or somebody who is interested in your product to read and give recommendations for improvement. If, for example, you write about programming in complex terms and the headings of your articles look like from books – it is unlikely that it will be interesting to read to anyone other than programmers. Even they can get bored. Meanwhile, by wrapping a “boring” topic in a title, for example, “How to use matches to find the number pi”, it is already more likely that the user will click because you aroused interest. That's only about content, but how to pay user's attention on it? You can hold attention with a light animation or relevant photo. The movement of elements when hovering over them with the mouse, gif animation, true photo of your product (not stock) or smth creative — all this involuntarily attracts the user's attention. Think ahead, make style. And finally: tests, quizzes and other game mechanics are an ideal elements of engagement if the target audience is qualitatively analyzed and the material is really tailored to their problems.
