@carwilliams21 there's no straight forward answer for this, but I would conduct a heuristic evaluation on your SaaS product.
Basically an evaluation, based on rules of thumb, for good UX and usability.
Do this with a group of folks in order to get more of a objective alignment on what needs to be fixed.
Using Nielsen's 10 heuristics (below) judge the Frequency vs Severity of each heuristic.
1. Visibility of system status;
2. Match between system and the real world;
3. User control and freedom;
3. Consistency and standards;
4. Error prevention;
5. Recognition rather than recall;
6. Flexibility and efficiency of use;
7. Aesthetic and minimalist design;
8. Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors;
10. Help and documentation.
You can read more about it here: https://www.nngroup.com/articles...
The beauty of this technique is:
- Relatively cost efficient (time/resources)
- Don't need to gather and synthesis lots of user feedback (don't need to wait)
- Prioritisation is baked-in
Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.

If you just started make it simple but to improve you definitely need to ask your user or use tool like hotjar to track user behavior
Communicate as much as possible with your users.

Tbh the only thing that really works is talking to your users, a lot. Try to get a lot of feedback from them, but then don't jump onto every perceived criticism and try to fix it. Turn that feedback into actionable points and check if there are more users who have the same problem (sometimes people can have very specific requirements, which won't work for a lot of other people). Then prioritise and execute.

You are exactly right, @moritztomasi. Talking to users and talking to them often is critical in building the best product you can.
But, the process of synthesizing insights from the feedback gathered and using that to prioritize and build out your roadmap is a laborious and time-consuming task that very few are able to do effectively.
It is for this reason we've built Insight7 to harness the power of Natural Language Processing to make this task 10x more efficient for our users.
As we've built we have also listened to our users and made tremendous improvements and are proud to be launching 2.0 today.
We would appreciate your support for our launch:
