How to find a great name for your product?

Most of the time I use namelix but never found a great name there. What's your strategy to found a killer name?

When you find a great name after thinking for a long while, you'll face the reality of that name has taken by a domain seller.

So, my suggestion is check out the domain name sellers' websites.

for our app i came up with a list of names and asked my then partner which one he liked best, he picked the most generic one. but it's fitting i guess

Ammm, you need time for that. You can test out various alphabets and put them together to come up with  a unique name.

Just like I did it for you right now. and I came up with some names like- Colata, Mataobe, Opumop, Poffin etc.

or you can also try checking out the web for some name suggestions.
