How to create trigger/urgency for people to use your product? (SaaS b2b)

Particularly pointed towards SaaS companies. Let’s say you have done initial pilots with a few customers and they like it. However the entire cycle of sales, pilot, roll out and adoption is painfully long. Would love to hear hacks/strategies that people have used to solve this problem.
