When I started working in software development 15 years ago, especially in the field of image processing, things were very different. Deep learning and neural networks were just emerging concepts, far from the robust tools we have today. Back then, any task that involved "intellectual" image processing required highly skilled developers, extensive algorithm design, and meticulous engineering. Fast forward to today, and we live in a world where even students can build simple but effective image processing solutions. Tools and frameworks have evolved to the point where the technology is more accessible than ever, enabling rapid innovation and experimentation. Of course, high-skilled professionals are still required, but for truly complex tasks and projects that involve training custom algorithms and pushing the limits of current technologies. Now, the focus has shifted. It’s not just about the technology anymore — it’s about how we wrap that technology into products that meet real-world demands. In today's landscape, it's all about user experience, scalability, and solving tangible problems with the power of AI. The pace of change in this field is incredible, and I’m excited to be part of a journey that continues to push the boundaries of what's possible. How does it look like from your point of view?
