How many days/week do you work?

I'm a workaholic, so I end up working 7 days/week and even during holidays with my family. It's just hard to switch off when you're working on your business.

Sometimes 2 hours a day and sometimes 14 hours a day. But like what I do. When I want to enjoy some alone/family time, I make sure I finish all the tasks prior and have someone to take care, of if something urgent comes back. Better to spend a few hours with your family each day, working more hours doesn't mean better results, except in some rare cases where only you can do the work and need to be done urgently.

5 days. If you are a workaholic, you need a 12-step program to recover from this addiction. Reach out to me, I can help.

Hi Frank, As a product manager, my work does often spill over into weekends, but I try to maintain a balance. I aim to work 5 days a week, but it's not uncommon for me to check in on things during the weekend. However, I do believe it's crucial to take time off to recharge. Having time to switch off and step back often provides a fresh perspective, which is invaluable in my role. It's all about finding a balance that works for you and your commitments.
Frank Sondors
@svitlana_palamarchuk I end up recharging every evening.

Way to many also, I am fighting my inner workoholic. It is getting easier as arguing with my wife about being too busy is battle I cannot win

Totally agreed. I do also every day and take breaks whenever necessary. Before business make any profit I cannot even justify idleness.
Frank Sondors
@elizabeth_tischencko likewise! Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity :)

7 days - but not endless hours. Weekends I tend to do some work in the mornings only (unless something pressing is happening). I’ve made a conscious decision to completely switch off/forget about work when there is a family or important event - that is time I can never get back.

I like to keep a fluid work schedule. Some weeks, it's 7 days, but somedays it's only 4. It really depends on the work load and my efficiency.
Frank Sondors
@elissa_craig yeah, it's good to unwind every other week or so.
JK
In total, there are 5 days with 10 hours in each day.

It really depends on the week. I'd say I work every day that I have no plans or I have time. Basically I work 5 days a week and then on the weekend whenever I have time I put that into work. Also good to say I'm doing that for my own startup. If it was a regular job then I'd appt regular hours.
Frank Sondors
@nuno_ms_reis yeah, I agree. I am building my own start up and working every day on it since launch.
7/7, but it's important to prioritize self-care and take breaks to avoid burnout. Don't forget to make time for yourself and loved ones outside of work. Keep up the hard work!

It depends on how I feel each week and the amount of work I've got. I work seven days on some weeks and four on others.

I work 7 days a week - i.e 5 days for office and 2 days for my family ( Full time family - Part time Office)

Same here 7/7, but on the weekends I only do that task I love.

I used to work Monday through Saturday, but now unless I have an urgent event to attend, I won't go to work on Saturday. @profy17
Frank Sondors
@kevrogers22 how many years you're working on your business?
Norma Lee

I used to work every single day for an unreasonable amount of hours (unpluging at midnight was pretty regular). Everything changed when I got my first kid, and now I find more pleasure in balancing out. I still work a lot when there is a rush, but usually I do work 5 days a week for ±9h. At's the end, the few extra hours I used to get by overworking were not that productive and I like to believe that if the success of my business depends on these, then I probably don't have such a solid business at the first place :-)

@profy17 I think one needs to go through that to understand the value of focus. For my part, in retrospect the first years on my business were not the most productive times ^^
Frank Sondors
@julien_fayad I must agree. I have 2 kids of my own, but working 7 days a week for the first 1-2 years of your business I find is kinda in evitable.

yyds, you are excellent. I work 6 days a week for my product [gnss viewer], and I will force myself to take a day off, work and rest, in order to work better. https://play.google.com/store/ap...
Frank Sondors
@nick_ma666 you force yourself to take a day off? :D
