I’m asking this question to understand your approach to earning money and how you would leverage your skills, resources, and time to reach a financial goal. It helps me get an insight into your strategy and decision-making process when it comes to generating income.

It depends on the type of product/service. Service were easier for me to sell. And it brings me more than I would sell products atm.

So, Nika, I noticed you've been selling on Gumroad. Would you like to share if it has been beneficial for you? Have you made any sales there? And if you have, could you share some tips on how to generate organic sales on Gumroad?

@hritik_choudhary Not so much on GumRoad but on Passionfroot or BuyMeaCoffee I had several sponsorships for my newsletter :)
I’m working today, but trying to keep it light. Sundays are good for planning and organizing for the week ahead.
Selling a service will ultimately be faster to make your first $1000.
Curious to see how people did it with a product.
I'd offer consulting services in my industry. One or two clients could bring in $1,000 within a few days.
@oke_feranmi_glory Hey Oke, offering consulting services sounds like a great way to hit your goals quickly! I’m curious, what kind of consulting services do you provide? Also, what strategies do you use to find clients?
How do you figure out the right price for your services? Do you have a specific process for understanding what your clients need most before you pitch your services?
I’d love to learn from your approach as I’m looking to improve my own freelancing journey.
I’d freelance for two weeks. writing or editing gigs always help me hit $1,000 fast.
@peter_victor Hi Peter, writing and editing gigs are a great way to earn! What platforms or methods do you use to find these gigs? How do you build long-term relationships with your clients, and are there any niches in writing or editing that you find more profitable?
I would offer my skills as a freelance developer to build a few quick websites or web apps. With the right clients and projects, I could probably hit $1K in a week or two of focused work in my spare time. The key is having an in-demand, marketable skill and knowing how to find the right gigs. Freelance development has worked well for me to generate side income.
I would do freelance web development or consulting work. If I can find a client willing to pay a decent hourly rate, I could probably hit $1,000 within a week or two working part-time. The key is having in-demand skills and a good network to find high-paying gigs quickly.
It really depends on your skills and what you can offer. If you have a high-paying skill like coding, design, or consulting, you could probably make $1k in a week or two with a few solid gigs. If you're starting from scratch, maybe focus on a service-based side hustle to get some quick clients and cashflow, then scale up from there. E-commerce can work too but the upfront costs and time to profit are usually higher compared to selling services. Just my 2 cents!
I’d teach a workshop. Sharing my skills usually brings in quick cash
@leo__henry Hi Leo, teaching workshops sounds like an exciting way to earn while sharing your knowledge! How do you usually find participants for your workshops? What platforms or strategies do you use to promote them, and how do you ensure the workshops provide value to your audience?
I’d flip items online. With some effort, I could do it in a week
@karan_mandal2 Hi Karan, flipping items online sounds resourceful! What items do you usually focus on, and where do you find them? Do you use specific marketplaces to sell, and how do you ensure you're pricing items competitively while making a good profit?
Launching soon!
It depends on what project or service you are doing. When short dramas were popular on TK, I used AI to make a live-action short film and earned $1,000 in a week.
