Some experts suggest that AGI could be achieved within the next few decades, while others believe it may take much longer or may never be achieved at all. Factors influencing the timeline include advancements in AI research, breakthroughs in cognitive science and neuroscience, computing power and technology, ethical considerations, regulatory frameworks, and societal acceptance. Launching soon!
Accessible to everyone? I think its a fair few years away. They we working on OpenAi for a long time before it was available to the public and they have a long way to go.

That's a very very veeeery hard question to answer. However, my answer is mostly NEVER! Because: Having AGI would mean that there would be no censorship, no one is going to allow that. Think of the implications!! This would level out the playing field for everyone and the world doesn't run on equal opportunities!

I believe we will have some technology that simulates an AGI within 5 to 10 years. However, having a true AGI, one that is capable of reasoning in ways no human has ever done, seems very difficult to achieve (though not impossible). But first, we need to find ways for smaller models to supervise larger ones, among other technical challenges.
