For me, exercise has a dramatic impact on my ability to focus. However, I also like working in the morning as I have clarity of thought. I often wrestle with the need for exercise, but knowing I'm losing out on an excellent focus lane for the day. How does everyone manage their exercise/work balance?

Over the past year, I have maintained a regular exercise routine every day (not high-intensity). At a set time each day, I would skip rope or stretch in place for 15-30 minutes during breaks from work. This significantly improved my circulatory system, which I believe is necessary after long periods of sitting. After persisting in this for three months, I developed a motion game that incorporates AI motion capture functionality (a product that is about to be released), which can be played on a mobile phone, greatly alleviating the boredom I felt during exercise.

For me, working out or regular movement positively impacts focus and the ability to get quality work done by boosting mental clarity, reducing stress, and increasing energy levels. Exercise stimulates the release of neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, which enhance mood and cognitive function. Physical activity also improves blood flow to the brain, leading to better concentration and sharper problem-solving skills. Additionally, taking breaks for movement can prevent burnout, helping you stay productive and engaged throughout the day.

@muffinns1 Love this and very much agree. It's amazing how important a bit of movement can do for your day.
