How do you wind down at the end of a whirlwind day?

Ah, the art of unwinding after a whirlwind day! For me, it’s all about creating a little “buffer zone” between the chaos of work and the calm of rest. I’ll start with a walk outside—nothing fancy, just some fresh air to reset my mind. Then it’s onto something low-effort but satisfying, like cooking a simple meal or diving into a Netflix series that doesn’t require much brainpower. Sometimes, I like to spend a few minutes reflecting on the day, jotting down wins (even the small ones!) and thoughts for tomorrow. If my mind is still buzzing, a short meditation or some instrumental music helps bring the mental chatter down a notch. What about you? How do you find your calm after a whirlwind day?

@pdftopdf That all sounds lovely and very sensible! I like listening to chill music while doing some kind of task that requires focus but not too much higher-level thinking like chopping vegetables...I might also play in the yard with my 3 dogs.
