Creating a survey form and asking others to fill might give some idea. Also doing a research in the same domain will work like looking for other companies having similar product, if they have what is their revenue, number of active users on their website , all these can help to understand the market requirements. I would love to know other suggestions.

Before building any product, I always validate the demand for it by first conducting market research to understand the needs and pain points of my target audience. I do this through various methods such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather as much information as possible. In addition, I also reach out to industry experts and professionals in the field to get their insights and opinions on the potential demand for the product. This helps me to identify any gaps in the market and assess the feasibility of my product idea. Another way I validate demand is by testing my product concept with a small group of potential customers. This allows me to gather feedback and make any necessary adjustments before fully launching the product. Overall, the key to validating demand for a product is to be proactive and gather as much information as possible before committing to building it. If you're interested in learning more about how I validate demand for my products, feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn and we can discuss further.

for me it was with pre-sales. Sign ups in advance are nice, but hard to predict conversion. Real dollars have been the best validation. Hope that helps!
