Talking with my team is a must for me. Also great music, focus and positivity. And if that won't work take a break, it'll give you perspective!

Few things I try (they work to varying degrees on different days): - If I have lots of work and am feeling overwhelmed, I start with small tasks and sometimes deliberately choose repetitive tasks to complete so that I can cross them off the list and build up some steam for the next task. - I disconnect completely for a short amount of time by going for a walk. I often find myself unblocked once I get back to work. - If some days don't end up being productive, I don't force it. Instead, I plan on what work can get done the next day. Planning in advance usually helps the next day go better.

I start with an easy task to get into rhythm. If it's need the eod I hunker down because I "race" with myself to see what I can finish before the day so that I can log off an enjoy by life outside of work in peace.

I don't. Having a startup is one of the only jobs that has been able to keep me highly motivated for a long period of time. My last job was 4 years. It worked because I changed role a few times :)

When that happens, I am lucky to have a team of supportive people who work towards the same goals as me and we lift each other up! My biggest motivator is people.

For me thinking of the grand scheme and of the endgame goal helps me get motivated. I may not like what I'm doing in the individual moment, but I know why I'm doing the whole big thing :)

Go for a walk, get some fresh air. As soon as I can loosen up, then the ideas and motivation will flow. Brainstorming with a collogue helps bring new energy and perspective. - then building a basic mockup to bring those ideas into perspective. We have used Miro a lot for those shared sessions. Once you have something to visualize (a mindmap or an early UI sketch etc), it is a lot easier to edit, refine, and get everyone aligned.

✅Break tasks down into smaller, more manageable steps. Sometimes feeling unmotivated can stem from feeling overwhelmed by a task or project. By breaking it down into smaller steps, you can make progress and gain momentum. ✅Set achievable goals for yourself. When you're feeling unmotivated, it can be helpful to set small, achievable goals that you can easily accomplish. This will give you a sense of accomplishment and help you build momentum. ✅Take breaks and get some fresh air. Sometimes, taking a break and getting some fresh air can help you recharge and refocus. Take a short walk or do some stretching to help clear your mind. ✅Prioritize your tasks. When you're feeling unmotivated, it's important to prioritize your tasks so that you can focus on the most important and urgent ones first. This will help you feel more in control and productive. ✅Try to find inspiration. Look for inspiration from coworkers, industry leaders, or even online resources. Sometimes hearing about other people's successes or learning new things can help you feel motivated and energized. ✅Remember why you're doing what you're doing. It can be helpful to remind yourself of the bigger picture and why your work is important. This can help you feel more motivated and purposeful in your work.

I work from home when I feel unmotivated to work; I start early in the day, finish before noon, and just take it easy the rest of the afternoon and evening.
