1. Try the first thing that comes to mind 2. Search for existing solutions/other people facing the same problem 3. Change the problem somehow or think about it laterally 4. Go to sleep and hopefully wake up with the answer 😂

If there is a reasonable solution - try and use it. If there is none - try and find one. If the problem is way out of my control (e.g. something global and/or unexpected) - well, there is nothing I can do except to adapt and minimize the losses.
