How do you send marketing campaigns?

Hi Marketing Experts! How are you sending marketing campaigns? There are software which allows you to send email campaigns but they are restricting you on number of contacts. Other than email, what type of marketing campaigns you use? How do you send them? Do they also restrict you based on contacts? What would you do if you want to send campaigns to contacts without spending too much?
