How do you relax after work?

After a long day of work, I have a few go-to activities that help me relax and unwind. Here's what I typically do:
- Engage in physical activity: I find that exercising or practicing yoga after work helps me release tension and clear my mind. It could be a brisk walk, a workout session, or even a calming yoga routine. Physical activity helps me transition from work mode to relaxation mode.
- Pursue hobbies and interests: I make time for activities that bring me joy and allow me to disconnect from work. It could be reading a book, playing a musical instrument, painting, or engaging in any other creative pursuit that I enjoy. These hobbies help me shift my focus and engage in something that I'm passionate about.
- Spend quality time with loved ones: Connecting with family and friends is important to me. I make it a point to spend quality time with my loved ones after work, whether it's having a meaningful conversation, sharing a meal together, or simply relaxing and enjoying each other's company. Socializing helps me unwind and recharge.
- Practice mindfulness and meditation: I find solace in practicing mindfulness and meditation techniques. Taking a few minutes to sit in silence, focus on my breath, and let go of the day's stressors helps me find inner calm and relaxation. It's a great way to rejuvenate my mind and body.
- Engage in self-care rituals: Taking care of myself is essential for relaxation. I indulge in activities like taking a warm bath, practicing skincare routines, or treating myself to a favorite dessert. These simple acts of self-care help me feel pampered and nurtured.
Now, I'm curious to know how you relax after work. What are your favorite ways to unwind and recharge? Share your experience, and if you have any additional tips or activities that you find helpful, I would love to hear them.

I disconnect anything work-related for a couple of hours at least. Spend time with my family, and chill out a bit. If I have something to do, I just do it after the "great reset"

I most often do it by outdoor sports.
Getting some fresh air is the best for me!
I like to try making new foods! This forces me to use my brain in productive ways rather than thinking about the day behind me.

@meera_kanani trying new recipes is the best!
After work, I love unwinding with a calming cup of chamomile tea while listening to soothing music as the sun sets.

I would advise you to do yoga in the evening. There are a lot of reasons. But now I want to remember to myself, I do cardio every 4 hours, and I read a book or make tea. And this is during work (I work at home the way I work for myself and make my own product). There is a lot of work, but sport helps me to relax.

@vaishali_rastogi Awww that's so cute 🥹
I indulge in a hot cup of turkish tea, with some easy-breezy tunes to help me let go of all the work stress. Sometimes I also have a good laugh by watching some stand-up comedy or binge-watching sitcoms. It's all about finding what works for you!
@ezgiyeginaltay What is your favourite? I'm actually drinking "CAYAKUR RAZE TURIST ÇAYI"

@realvladgolub Turkish tea is my go-to as well!
I play indie games, that is very linear. I find it more relaxing than watching a movie. The Steam Deck is perfect for this.
