I have a business idea I want to pursue and I am looking for investors. If I use a crowd founder like kickstart and I post my idea can't someone just steal it and do it them selves. My idea is not a product but a platform, can I pattern it?

Protecting a business idea can be tough. Use NDAs with investors to keep your idea safe. Focus on creating a strong brand and unique features. Getting to market quickly can also help protect your concept.

It's great to hear that you have a promising business idea that you want to pursue! When it comes to protecting your idea, one way to safeguard it is by openly sharing it with the community while also building a strong network of supporters who believe in your vision. By creating relationships and showcasing your expertise in the industry, you are not only establishing your credibility but also making it harder for others to replicate your idea. Remember, your unique perspective and approach to the platform will set you apart from any potential imitators. Keep focusing on what makes your idea special and stay true to your vision! I know your feeling!!! When I was on campus, I also thought my existing ideas were great enough, each was good and I just needed money to do that. However, in the real world and real market, you will find that there are plenty of impressive ideas and the difficulties they met were how to do. SO never hide your ideas. If it's a great idea, people will engage and help. If it's not a great idea, people will give you advice to make it better. They won't steal your ideas because there aren't things they have passion in.
