Mobile in silent mode. Not even vibration mode.
Disconnect with social life for a while.

Putting my phone on silent.

Definitely put the phone on silent mode, not even vibrate. Also, I use website blockers to restrict access to distracting sites during work hours. The Forest app helps me stay focused too - you grow virtual trees while you work distraction-free, but if you leave the app, your tree dies. Gotta keep those trees alive! 🌳😄

Launching soon!
Two screens changed everything - one for deep work, one for all the 'urgent' stuff. When I'm heads down, second screen goes dark. Not revolutionary, but it's honest about how my brain works. Sometimes the basic fixes work best.

I use the Pomodoro technique. I use a focus application with 25‘ / 5’ slots. During the 25' all notifications are off

I let people know when I’m in deep focus mode and use tools like “Do Not Disturb” to limit notifications. This helps keep interruptions at bay.

I've been using the Pomodoro technique for the past couple of weeks, and so far, it's been effective in helping me stay focused and avoid distractions.

My workspace is very minimal because I know clutter can distract me. I keep only the things I need for my current task on my desk

For me, turning off notifications on my phone is the simplest way to avoid distractions during work. I check it only during breaks.

I use noise-canceling headphones and play soft music while working. It helps me tune out any background noise and concentrate better.
