How do you identify and select the right participants for in-depth interviews?

In-depth interviews are essential for product discovery, they allow for a deep understanding of the experiences, behaviors, motivations, and needs of the target audience. But it works only if we ask the right people. So how do you identify them and how do you find them?

I reckon identifying them is easier than finding them. Identifying them is very much in your control - its the target audience that you've built your product for. The people that face the pain point you're solving most acutely. Finding them can often be hard, especially if the target audience is not available to be found in immediate friends and family. Social media ISO's (In Search Of) help, Polywork has a pretty cool community of beta testers that can sign up too.

1. Identify the audience age, set demographical boundaries, ask relevant questions (not too much as that'd bore them out, specially in the case of GenZ surveys)

@mahad_kamran This is an interesting topic - always remember that it all depends on who you talk to. A lot of research with GenZ?
