How do you gain more points here in PH? Mind your best strategies?

AFAIK, the only way is engagement with community. It means contribute to community by start discussions and comment them. What can I suggest is "quality over quantity". don't write for points, do it to learn and share.

@mahsum_akbas I agree with this actually, as you can see in my question, I use the discussion to learn more about the community and the ins and outs of PH. And this has helped so much understanding a lot of things here in PH

What can you do with those points?
@viktorbresan A lot of people here are suggesting that points play a big factor in your account. Can you help me understand more about this?
@mahsum_akbas Could you please explain the part with increasing account power? Account reputation is a vanity metrics so I don't find it to be important.
@jao_japitana Unfortunately I can't, as I would like to know that too.
@viktorbresan it increases our account power when you vote. Also, it shows account reputation.
Just keep on engaging. That's what works for me! :)
