How do you feel after vacation?

I thought that I need a rest. I had a trip to other country and I was there 5 days. But after this trip I feel that I need to have rest. It was a new country for me and a very active time, also a lot of new people. I think that this is the reason why I don't feel myself relax. What about you?

I feel like not going to office for at least 2-3 days after any trip.

It sounds like you had an exciting but perhaps overwhelming trip! I can relate to that feeling sometimes. After a vacation, I often find myself in a mixed state of rejuvenation and a bit of adjustment.
@akanksha_hunts yes Akanksha. Trip was very nice but I am really tired:(
I need extra few days (2-3) to recharge before going back to work.
@steve_lourdessamy and me, but little more

LIKE, I NEED A VACATION! :D
There is motivation for the work for sure, so it was definitely a mental vacation, but physically I wanna rest for a few more days.
@sandradjajic Hi Sandra! Thank you for your reply. I am looking forward of your next launch. You are a very interesting person, I like you and your work! :)
Usually refreshed but also kinda stressed with the pile-up of work, But I really try to enjoy and relax.
@donnawood_84 Hi Donna! The biggest problem is to make the brain relax:(
Motivated!

@timothycarterr_ I envy you Timothy!)
At times, having days off is essential to truly disconnect and relax. Allowing oneself to do nothing and experience boredom can actually stimulate creativity and motivation. If vacations are consistently tiring and filled with constant activity, they might serve as a change from work, but they might not provide sufficient relaxation and rest. :)

I think it depends on the kind of vacation. If I'm traveling and doing a bunch of things then it can be stressful and tiring. However, if it's with people you are comfortable with and you're not doing stressful things, then it can be relaxing for the soul (if not relaxing for the body too).
@dennis_aronov Hi Dennis. People were too nice but I am tired because I am an introvert a little bit:(
Lucky, Team September around here?
Vacations are just around the corner!
@louis_garnier you are going to have rest in September?

When I want to relax, I try to organize my vacation in such a way that later, I don’t have to rest from vacation. 😀 If the vacation goes well, you usually want to return to work as soon as possible.
@nickanisimov yes I think that the key is to organize it in this way. I didn't do this. So now I am like a squeezed lemon

@anna_kasumova I'm sure you will recover soon :)
In fact, traveling is a very energy-consuming activity. You are constantly on the move, consuming tons of new information, solving problems, interacting with new people... It's not surprising that after such a vacation, you need some more passive rest to recover physically and emotionally. That's why I try to leave a few days at the end of my vacation and do almost nothing in a familiar place
@evgeniia5682 Hi Evgeniya, yes, that's true!
For a long time by myself I noticed that after a good rest I need another rest)))
therefore, I try to give 1-2 more days of rest as a seal after major trips before going to work. It helps!
@katushkas Hi Kate! Yes, me too. I really can't force myself to work after active trip

Same here! Whenever I come back from an out-of-the-box vacation, I feel like going back to my comfort zone and relaxing there for a bit before getting back to work :)
@uemuradani Hi Daniela. Yes, long time I tried to be out of my confort zone, But now I understand that it's not bad and sometimes we need it to relax and get energy!

Relaxed. Kinda Need-Another-Vacay-To-Adjust-Back-Mentally at Work. Working hard for another vacation.
I'm among those who need a vacation after they had a vacation :D
@burmistrov you are not alone!)
I can relate. That's why this time I decided just to let myself do the stuff I wanna do, even if it means spending time watching series or riding a bike. Didn't go anywhere
@darya_antonyuk yes. Nice to meet you Darya!

On one hand, there's that initial feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation, like a breath of fresh air after being stuck in the hustle and bustle of work. It's like hitting the reset button and coming back with a renewed sense of energy and creativity.
Suddenly, reality hits you like a ton of bricks, and you realize the mountain of emails, missed calls, and pending tasks waiting for you back at the office.
@suman_saurabh2 yes, I think about it always. It's constantly going in my mind
