@irmak_besimoglu for target audience: if you're pre-launch, a good place to start is customer discovery. Define a few potential segments and interview customers from within those segments to understand the challenges they face and their needs. Try to need lead the witness or introduce bias. Best practice is to have them walk you through their typical day / workflow rather than ask "do you struggle with x"

yes, figuring out your target audience and buyer personas is crucial. i start by looking at the problem my product solves. who's facing this problem the most? then, dive into demographics, interests, behavior patterns. sometimes, direct surveys or analyzing competitors' audiences can give insights. it's about piecing together a picture of who really needs what you're offering.

I guess hypothetically. Then, in the process of additional market research, I make adjustments.

Create Buyer Personas: Develop detailed profiles of your ideal customers, representing each audience segment. These personas should include demographic information, psychographics (attitudes, values, lifestyles), motivations, pain points, and buying behaviors.
I prefer getting in calls with clients. The first half of the call is focused on understanding their challenges and capabilities, the. The second half focuses on brainstorming and providing potential solutions. Doing this with several clients on a daily basis for a few weeks or months will give you all the information you need to create the right persona, as well as realigning product development towards users needs.
