How do you currently manage your application configurations?
Do you restart your server every time you make a change, or do you store configurations in your database? If it's the latter, how do you find the performance impact?
Also, are you employing any innovative solutions for configuration management in your applications?

Static or hardly changed config is stored in JSON document that are parses ans loaded in memcache. Database memory tables for user config that are
accessed frequently but also cached in user session objects. When user updates config, memory tables are updated and permanent records are written in InnoDB tables.
