How do you come up with good product and startup ideas?

Usually my ideas come from a problem that is just asking to be solved. However, you can totally sit down with the intention of coming up with a product and startup idea. How-might-we-questions are so good to get the ball rolling.

Focus on validation and you will be fine. Don't know how? google it. Validation is 99% of the job. But no one does it. Just napkin idea, start building and years go by. and then they totally tank. This mindset is so common.

Coming up with ideas is not the problem. Validating these ideas is the problem. It's hard, and there is no magic bullet.
