How do you collect email addresses for your product launch?

Building an email list of people interested in your product or service is a great way to prepare before you launch.

I wish to know what's your hack to getting your first 100 or 1000 signsups  for your waitlist?

I teased the product on social media, so that got me the first 100 or so. After that, I've offered various freebies (eBooks, etc) for email signup.
