How do you build the audience on Twitter?

I'm new to Twitter and I'm working on building an audience here for the first time. I would really appreciate any advice from the Product Hunt community and fellow founders :)

I personally publish content using #buildinpublic and #indiehackers.
I went from 0 to 200 in around two months. I consider it slower than LinkedIn. But maybe because I didn't invest enough time or didn't understand how to crack it (yet!).

Also, you can search for communities and publish there
