My two cents: Focus on building a product that people will love and don't focus on hype building. Hype shouldn't be built, it should happen organically – otherwise it's not sustainable.

@sarahxjo Actually I was talking about the organic hype. Yes, I agree with your stance that if your product is worth value, it will be on the people's discussion.

Building organic hype, of course, is way to go. However, here are few things I have done in the past that worked. 1. Strong story around your product (you must be able to show the vision of what it is and how the user could transform their lives using your product ) 2. Consistent communications with value driven contents (What type of content would your user find value? Share and give them what they want, then on the side, you can talk about your product) 3. Some sort of demo and the user feedback from it. (There needs to be some type of evidence to why there should a hype) Once these are ready, hit the social media, follow the people and hashtag and build engagements.

@djteknokid Thanks for the insights. What's the best social media platform for tech product promotion?

Product should be worth the hype :)
Johny burg
@socialbhat Yes. This is a must
This is a very important question. The best way to build hype is to create a desire for your product. If it is truly remarkable, people will not be able to resist talking about it and telling their friends about it. Creating desire increases the likelihood that your product will generate hype.

@maali_1 @johny_burg yes, you can also purchase press too. Not sure why this link isn't working now but https://pressful.com/ theres https://prshouts.com/ as well I was looking into it because it would be nice to have an "As Seen On" section on the splash page.

@richw @maali_1 Are you talking about social media?

@patrick_kessler Facebook is very helpful in leads generations.

Scarcity! Heard of Clubhouse? When Clubhouse was launched, it was an invites ONLY platform meaning you can only join when someone else invites you. AND they limited the invites a person can send out to 5. People were selling "Clubhouse Invites" on eBay! Now NOT to ignore their outstanding marketing spend and the funding, but that is one way to do it. Figure out what would work for your product. HOW? Try. Test. Repeat. 🚀

Creating a hashtag is a clever approach gets the audience excited about their involvement and more engaged in the release.
Johny burg
@baloch_mirha Yes, hashtags play an important role when it comes to social media
