Hi Ernest - did anyone tell you that you look strikingly similar to a Bradley Unthank who is Director, Commercial Valuation & Advisory Services, Auckland at CBRE? https://www.cbre.co.nz/people/br... There is also no such company as RankRangerS - that is an S too much.

By setting specific, measurable, and achievable goals that align with the vision that I have. For external goals, I created a timeline that outlines the steps I need to take. For internal goals, I created a list of tasks that I need to complete to make progress. We should not set too many goals. Setting too many external goals without considering internal goals can lead to burnout and a lack of satisfaction. On the other hand, focusing only on internal goals without considering external goals can lead to stagnation and a lack of progress

It depends on what kind of things or what kind of personalities you have!

Balancing external goals with internal contentment involves prioritizing values, self-awareness, adaptability, and mindfulness. It's a lifelong journey where I ensure my goals align with my core values, and I adjust when external pursuits overshadow my inner peace. This balance enhances both personal well-being and external success.

External goals, such as career achievements, financial stability, and personal accomplishments, are essential for growth and progress. They provide direction, motivation, and a sense of purpose. Acknowledge the significance of these goals in your life.

Balancing external goals and internal contentment can be quite a journey. It's all about finding that sweet spot where you're not just chasing external success but also nurturing your inner happiness. I try to set clear external goals that motivate and excite me, whether it's in my career or personal life. However, I also make sure to check in with myself regularly. Practicing gratitude, meditation, and self-reflection helps me stay grounded and content on the inside. This way, I can enjoy the journey toward my external goals while maintaining a sense of inner peace. It's like having your cake and eating it too – both ambitious and content.

Balancing the pursuit of external goals with internal contentment is a complex but essential aspect of a fulfilling and well-rounded life. Here are some strategies to help you strike a balance: 1. Set Clear Priorities: Identify your most important internal and external goals. What truly matters to you in terms of personal well-being and happiness, as well as external achievements? 2. Practice Mindfulness: Mindfulness and meditation can help you stay in the present moment and appreciate what you have. It can reduce stress and promote internal contentment. 3. Define Success on Your Terms: Don't solely define success by external achievements. Consider what success means to you personally. It might involve having fulfilling relationships, a sense of purpose, or a balanced lifestyle. 4. Create a Work-Life Balance: Ensure that your pursuit of external goals doesn't overshadow your personal life. Allocate time for family, friends, hobbies, and self-care.
