    Sometimes they'll find you. I've released things in the past, expecting a completely different audience than the one that used my product. If you're releasing an MVP, it is important to narrow it down. But I wouldn't avoid the lesson that it could teach you.

    I think it's the complete opposite actually, if you find the right product for the market you are exploring. Think of a market like a lock and the product like a key. If you focus on having the key and find the right lock you'll have problems. But if you have a lock to crack you can use a set of pliers, a hammer, a key, anything that works. Distribution first, find a problem you want to fix and then try to make a product to solve it ;) It will save you some pain.

    The hardest thing IMO is fake product market fit. As in, you think you found it, but actually it was hype or curious users testing it (with not intention to ever pay). Just came across the Mom Test book and am loving how it helps you ask the right questions to get PMF
    To find the right market fit for products, conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
