Sharing useful design tips mostly. Commenting on tweets with lots of engagement also works really well.

@matcha_anil Try and make them as helpful as possible. They're almost like a post in themselves.

@adhamdannaway When you commented on other people's tweets, did you find this created a lot of discussion? Or more engagement like tweets/retweets?

@carter_barnett It really depends on how good the comment was. Mostly good comments get lots of likes and some follows.

A former coworker of mine went from 100 to 14.4k followers in less than a year. I asked her what her secret was, and she responded "Be Authentic." • She doesn't use any apps (Typefully, etc.) to schedule posts • She doesn't filter her thoughts, rather clearly states her opinion • She doesn't post just for the sake of posting, but tries to be a value-add in every conversation Just be yourself, and the followers will come!

@brian_yip This is the best way to build a personal brand in my opinion. Never have to worry about whether or not you're staying on "brand" or showing a version of yourself the same way you did at the start.

@brian_yip But isn't being consistent difficult without scheduling apps
