The finished cost, my competitors' offered price, and the intended market potential. That how I came up with pricing for my product.

In the very beginning, we just look at competitors and make the prices a little bit lower.

It's not compatible with every type of product, but running A/B tests on the prices themselves!

I personally think if the value that you're providing from the product is greater than the price that they're paying you should go with it! because ultimately you want the value to be higher than the price that they are paying

Market research based on competitors and your current value to the customer. Also, run tests! Try different pricing models, and switch them up every month.

Everything people already said before, and, most importantly: realism. Never, ever get carried away by the $ signs & thoughts of the ‘big time’ (usually quickly). Too many apps/services shoot themselves in the foot at the word Go! Customer never forgets any greed grab. Product usually never recovers. Always temper the customer expectations and the company expectations, balance to a fair %
