I want to know who helped you launch your product 🤔

Margret Rhyme
Don't have a permanent team, but freelancers.
Emilia Vicini
@margret_rhyme do you usually work with a steady group of freelancers or you change according to the needs?
Jabari Zuri
I collaborated with my batch fellows, friends and referrals
Emilia Vicini
@jabari_zuri @fam_socialfinance how was the 'recruiting' process with your friends? Did you assess them based on previous work shared or just sharing a common idea?
Louis Cirignano
@emilia_vicini My c-founder was a referral, and we just had a few meetings to discuss the idea before committing to anything. Friends that I have hired, I already knew their qualifications before we started discussing them coming aboard, but we generally treat interviews pretty casually
Louis Cirignano
Friends and referrals for sure, this has been 100% sufficient; we are currently at 11 members.
Bryan McAnulty
Built from scratch. Found them on the internet! We work remotely from 3 continents and do an annual meetup once a year.
Emilia Vicini
@bryanmcanulty that's amazing! what tool or app did you use to find them?
At this early stage, it's just the two of us forming the core of the team. We recognized the importance of starting small and building a strong foundation. We leveraged our unique strengths and skills to cover various aspects of the project. Communication between the two of us is key – we regularly share ideas, divide responsibilities, and align our efforts toward our common goals. How about you?
Emilia Vicini
@akanksha_hunts well said! Leveraging strength and effective communication are key. In our case, we are 3 co-founders & 5 team members. It was crucial for us to define clear roles for everyone, including the founders, maintain an agile environment, and set specific objectives every quarter. This approach keeps everyone involved and aligned at each step of the journey!

My CEO reached out to me and now we're a team of two (1 dev heavy 1 ops heavy). Ideally in the near future we can add some FE Dev + Marketing talent into the fold as we scale.

@emilia_vicini In theory but in practice things might be a little different. It'll all be predicated on need. Quite different to traditional recruitment pipeline building for sure.
