Hello everyone,
I recently created a new Twitter account to connect with other like-minded people and build a community. Can you give me some tips on how to do that?
Thanks in advance!

Honestly, growth on twitter is one of the slowest on all social media networks. It requires a lot of hardwork. It would be easier if you already have following on other platforms, you can direct them to your twitter.
If not, what you have to do is focusing on your Niche and producing great contents day in day out. You have to reach out to other smaller accounts through Direct messaging, and constantly replying their tweets on the timeline with insightful comments. Some people claim they had to reply up to 100 comments everyday to grow on twitter.
Writiing your own content is important, but in the initial stage you have to do it like 75% to 25% in favor of replying comments.
I hope this helps
@chessnotion Woah writing 100 authentic comments every day looks kind of tough but I will try. Thank you Susan for your reply It did help me get a little reality check 😅
@sahitya_k It's definitely not easy sis!!! Just like everything else 😅😅😅 Joining a Twitter community and regularly posting also helps
@chessnotion Yes, I will try my hardest, and if you don't mind do you have Twitter, I would love to follow you there
@sahitya_k Yeah, wish you luck 🥰🥰, I am also just starting to take it serious. I am chessnotion on twitter, I would love to follow back. I would be releasing a chess template very soon!!
Growing on Twitter definitely isn't easy. It requires a lot of engagement, a lot of interaction, a lot of back and forth, and a lot of DMs. I think the first hurdle is finding the community you want to interact with. It helps to follow some big names / influencers in that space and interact with their followers, because that's where you'll find people who have similar interests and goals.
I see in your PH bio that you're a Web Developer. I've recently been trying to build community on Twitter in the same space that you're working in. I run a web development agency and am launching an AI-powered Project Management tool built specifically for web development next month. Shoot me your Twitter handle, and I'll follow you there!
Thank you @brianhurst and Yes you are right finding like-minded people is the real hurdle.
And here is my Twitter handle @Insightfulsoul6 ( kinda weird, isn't it 😅) and I am also interested in the AI-powered management tool you mentioned, if you don't mind can you share little bit of details about it?
@sahitya_k Absolutely! At my web development agency, we realized that we were wasting a lot of time and money worrying about project scoping and interfacing with our clients - as developers, all we wanted to do was develop without worrying about the project management part of it. We recognized this right as AI was beginning to boom, so we decided to build a Project Management tool we could use within our agency to allow us to do that.
mDash was built to take non-technical project requests and instantly break those requests down into manageable technical tasks for developers to being working on immediately. We've also built in other systems we found useful to us as devs, including a kanban board, project status and time tracking, automated status updates, and a bunch more!
We use mDash internally at my agency for all of our projects, now, but we're preparing it for an open beta launch next month, so other developers, agencies, and their clients can benefit, too! If you're at all interested, we've got a coming soon page here on PH, as well as additional information at getmdash.com
@brianhurst looks interesting, I will definitely look into your website
