How are you managing user testing to get "skin in the game" answers?

Hi friends! We are doing some user testing and user research from time to time with varying results. One challenge I'm facing sometimes is that test groups are giving us feedback during testing of features, which later on changes to another opinion if they uses the feature "in action", meaning a situation where it really counts. Have you bumped in to the same problems? and how are you solving this?
