I'd love to hear about the challenges of doing this and if you have any favorite tools you use.

I use different tools, but I would say HubSpot is the main one.

@janetnelson73 Can you give me a link? Or at least a title so I can search for it?

I use Microsoft clarity and Google analytics
Elly
@karthik_tatikonda Are those services too difficult to use?

We use Matomo for stats, but you could also use Hotjar & its heatmaps fucntionality. I used to use it a lot before.
Axel Borry
Hotjar for heatmaps and recording GG analytics 4 and Amplitude for the rest
Elly
@nickyborry You're using some pretty specialized tools, are there any challenges?
Axel Borry
@elly_sp Cost could be the first real challenge because. Another could be the setup of an analytics tool that could be tricky... Hotjar is simple to use the other one not at the same level

Analyzing user behavior on websites is crucial for optimizing conversions and improving user experience. Heatmaps, session recordings, and surveys provide valuable insights to drive growth. Don't underestimate the power of data-driven decisions! @containerindonesia
Elly
@containerindonesia @istana_container Yes, I think it's important to make data-driven decisions, too. Thanks for the answer!

Hotjar and Google Analytics

@edward_g If those two services you mentioned can be easily used without any integration, would it be worth a try?
Edward G
@elly_sp I definitely recommend some kind of analytics tools (Google Analytics is free and easy to integrate with Google Tag Manager). Hotjar is great to see user behavior almost live. Both are excellent.
Elly
@edward_g Okay. So I wanted to ask you, since you seem to be an expert, would it be useful to you to see analytics like this in your content?
I mean, it's a little bit easier to understand if you look at the link. Anyway, you can track line-by-line which content the visitor paid attention to, and you can see the number of clicks per button.
Edward G
@elly_sp Hotjar does exactly that. It shows you heatmaps (where users clicked the most) and shows you user recordings so you can see what a user did while on your site
