    How are founders who build on top of platforms mitigating platform risk?

    I suspect many developers who work with the Twitter API are feeling a bit nervous about the upcoming switch to paid API access only. Do any successful entrepreneurs have advice for future founders? Starting a side project on top of a platform is often a common first step in launching a business.

    Build on multiple platforms. But if your product is platform specific, then unfortunately, there's nothing you can do.
