Investing $30K into prizes and fees to market a SaaS product to developers through a hackathon: Any experience, is it worth it?

Any tips or suggestions to make it a success?

You have to decide whether is long term or short term plan in mind you have when launching

@foma In our case, we want to help devs build computer vision apps using engine.remyx.ai. We're working on tutorials for mobile apps using snapML or hardware platforms like NVIDIA Jetson or Arduino devices.

@foma We expect to support both but think we have more leverage helping non-experts (starting with North America) to build models quickly. Aiming to support continual updates which will help sell to companies.

We were told to expect 20-200 entries, depending on the prizes and social media campaign package. Hoping it'll help in brand awareness and creating content for SEO but expect we'll need to further grow ours first.
