Whenever I feel that getting closer to burnout, I try to take few days off as soon as possible. Switch off everything, ideally go to nature and enjoy moments of silence. It helps a lot and gives power to move forward. If you interested, I started quite close-related topic a week ago, check it out - https://www.producthunt.com/disc...

- find hobbies that interest you. focus on other passion projects - maintain physical fitness - "tune out" from your devices for X amount of days - change your diet - find new vices

In all honestly, this is tough to do when you are dedicated to what you are doing. Part of the grind is being able to manage the occasional "burn out" feeling. You just need to figure out a routine to navigate through this process. Good luck!

Hi Gautam, it's a nice question. I relax a little bit, get aware and notice that it's a visitor and will leave soon. And, I can get back to work again without getting depressed.

Burn out can take months to recover from. I just listen to my body, whether it needs sleep, nutrition, peace, movement, fresh air, socialisations, creativity, wandering, indulging, etc. and I try to take care of myself as good as I can and I welcome any help directed my way. It can be really tough experience. Definitely don`t take it lightly!

Basically I am trying to prevent burnout. This effectively means that I am trying to create a routine of daily well being habits (such as working standing, drinking lots of water, taking power naps and avoiding stress by breathing in a regulated manner, meditation sessions etc).  The reason is that as correctly pointed out earlier by another member, burnout requires long recovery time.
